We wrote Skyline hoping to bring vintage sounds to life in a new context. The album is about finding yourself in times of trial, and growing through those moments. Though we used a great deal of electronic instrumentation, we left the vocals raw but layered to create walls of sound and texture. Inspired by 70s Soul, 90s R&B, and a number of electronic musicians, we worked to create our own unique sound. As a result, Skyline is full of rich layers, soul soaked vocals, and funky drum sequencing. However you envision the message of the album, we hope you feel the emotional impact of each song.
